About the role. 

You will join a collaborative team of 8 Developers and 1 Manual QA, and we are now looking for a skilled QA Engineer to strengthen our quality efforts on a key project. The product is a SaaS-based digital marketing platform designed for local media and digital agencies. It enables fast proposal creation, self-serve ad campaign management, automated fulfillment, and insightful reporting and analytics.

This platform is powered by proprietary audience data and advanced technology, helping businesses connect with active in-market shoppers, drive qualified website traffic, and improve profitability. Our mission is to simplify the complex digital ecosystem so our partners can focus on what they do best — growing their business.

As a QA Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the platform’s reliability, scalability, and performance, directly contributing to its success in transforming how digital marketing is managed and optimized.

Our Tech Stack:  CloudGeometry’s project is about building complex technical products; therefore, experience or at least familiarity with the following stack is a significant advantage, you will eventually touch all of it.

• Most of our services are written in Node JS with the front end being written on Vue
  

• We use MySQL as our database of choice. For the request and data caching layer, we utilize Redis
  

• Almost everything we run is hosted on AWS for optimized data access and easy scalability
  

• We use GitHub and GitHub actions to host our repositories and run various pipelines.
  

• We strive for full use CI/CD and constantly update our workflow as well as infrastructure to support this

You are strongly interested in leveraging AI and cutting-edge methodologies to drive efficiency and precision in your work. A strong commitment to the organization's growth and the advancement of its internal ventures is critical. You care about your project, but also about CloudGeometry communities and their development. Sharing best practices with engineering communities across projects is paramount to you. 

You will: 

• Automated test development for web apps UI and API
  

• Automated tests analysis and stabilization
  

• Maintain auto test infrastructure and CI/CD integration
  

• Communication with product stakeholders
  

• Collaboration with other team members
  

• Requirements analysis
  

• Bug Reporting
  

• Participation in planning of testing activities
  

• Our tech stack: Python, pytest, playwright, requests.
  

Requirements

Successful candidates typically possess:

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing, 3+ years in test automation
  

• Proven experience in automated UI / REST API testing
  

• Knowledge of Python, pytest, playwright and OOP
  

• Experience working with autotest infrastructure like BrowserStack
  

• Able to analyze the problem and define clear and specific root cause of it
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions
  

• Understanding of Server/Client architecture
  

• Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams
  

• Experience working with task tracking systems, e.g. Jira
  

• Participating in QA activities planning
  

• Team player, a fast learner and passionate about advancing in the QA world
  

• C1 English 
  

• Nice-to-have: experience with JS / TS test automation
